Be Still

MEDITATE as often as possible. If you can brush your teeth regularly to keep them from decaying then you can meditate regularly to keep your soul from decaying as well.

Nothing matters but God.

Reality is an illusion. You have to step out of the illusion once in a while in order for you to have peace. Your mind is part of this illusion.

Meditating is a way of stepping out of your mind. Which is stepping out of the illusion.

Be still and know that I AM GOD. Literally! Be still, sit down, close your eyes, focus on your breathing and try not to scratch anything that itches for at least 20 minutes (or more). Do this often throughout the day and I assure you you’re on your way to enlightenment. (Caution: may be addictive)

Alternatives:

• Washing dishes ( I’ve had quite a few BOOMS! while squeezing the life out of a sponge…Can I help, Mum? NO!!!)

• Painting, writing, singing, dancing, walking, running, anything that gives you JOY…

(Wait a sec, didn’t you say BE STILL?)
