The Empty Car – A Dream

‪I had to borrow a car even though I didn’t know how to drive. But trying to drive it was exciting! I parked it.

But when I came back the car was stripped to its shell – there was nothing left but paper stuffings instead of the engine.

A man came out from a door nearby. While he was washing his hands I asked him if he could help me get home.

He asked me to sit next to him on a bench nearby, and he said he was actually the owner of the car. And did I notice that I forgot to lock the doors?

I felt so dismayed and guilty – I started crying and apologising, hugging him and telling him I was very, very sorry.

The next thing I knew I was running across an open field where some men were watching a pig attacking a dog.

I ran faster because a white dog began chasing me. It tried to bite my leg but it couldn’t.

It stopped chasing me when I finally reached the edge of the field.
