The Birds & The Bread

What were those birds near the bus stop all about, God? Those I saw this morning?

What about those birds?

Well, there were about 8 or 10 of them foraging. One bird found a piece of sliced white bread and began tossing it around. It was as if it was trying to tear of a little bit by taking it in its beak then chucking it as high as possible and then it eats whatever is left in its beak. And once the piece of bread hits the ground the rest of the birds would do the same. They took turns chucking and tearing bits of it until there wasn’t anymore bread left.

What did you notice about their behavior?

Well, the first thing that came to mind was that they weren’t fighting. They were just hopping around waiting for their chance at that piece of bread.

Do you think each of those birds got their fill?

Yeah, I think so.

Were they the same kind of birds?

Oh no. There were pigeons which were the bigger ones and a few small mynahs and one tiny one which I’m too lazy to check on Wiki.

You’ve used that word three times now.

What word?

Why are you counting?

Why are you saying?

I dunno.

I know. You’re getting bored.

I am?

Yes. Tweeting and blogging about The Truth is not exactly sky-diving, is it?

What are You trying to say?

What I’m trying to say is this whole affair should already be on a whole new level. And because of pride it is stuck in a rut.

Not my problem.

No. It is not your problem.

You keep repeating what I say.

It is to emphasize a point, my dear one. To emphasize My Message. My advice.

Okay, I get the point. Since it is not my problem, can we please get back to the birds?

There’s no need.

The point has been taken.

Taken by who? (Whom?)

By someone who has to take the point and take The New World to where it should be.

You are so weird today!
