Luck

12:17pm

Mum’s mirror broke. The wind was blowing so strongly, the mirror that was hanging at their bedroom window fell and broke. Superstition wise, that’s considered bad luck for the next 7 years. What’s the purpose, God?

Do you believe in that?

No, not really. You create your own luck.

Before you found your truth did you think this way?

No. Like many others, I just waited until luck came. I used to be one of those who would queue up to buy Toto and 4D numbers at the lottery.

So you believe that by not doing anything and by just waiting your luck will come to you?

Yes.

Have you ever won anything?

Yes, but not much. The most was around 250 dollars which was part of a group bet. Why are we talking about this, God?

Because there are others out there who believe that if they wait long enough luck will come to them. And what do people feel when they get lucky?

Joy?

Joy. They are waiting for joy to come to them.

Well, it does happen you know, God.

What happens, child?

Joy comes to others who win in the lottery. They win the top prizes and become instant millionaires.

Do you know any of them?

No.

Why do you think that is? Why do you think these instant millionaires have never been as well known as, let’s say Warren Buffett?

“Easy come, easy go,” is the answer that popped in my head.

Yes! Things that are easy or gained in an instant do not last very long. Now why do you think Warren Buffet is famous and is still a millionaire?

Because he works hard?

Precisely. Anything that lasts will usually take longer to acquire. A lot of blood, sweat and tears put into a creation will make this creation last longer because it will be treasured and protected because of the effort that was put into it.

I don’t like the blood part but I agree with the sweat and tears. So why are we talking about this again?

We are talking about this because My law is the law of cause and effect, not the law of “We’ll see.” There is nothing you cannot have if you choose it.
