Mum was stuck at Level 70 for quite a while. But she managed to free herself a couple of days ago. She was soooo happy! She’s now at Level 72.
I’m still stuck. It’s been over a month now.
Oh. I’m talking about Candy Crush. (Ha? You’re only at Level 70?…I’m busy being a messenger, okay?)
I cannot really say I’ve been crushing candies regularly. I divert to Pet Rescue or Finger Piano once in a while (while waiting for my extra LIFE). Pets and music soothe the weary soul. And Tiny Tower gives me peace of mind for the financial uncertainty of the future. (Joy, you are so lame!)
Anyway. Getting back to Level 70.
My problem with this level is those pesky chocolate mints.
Once I break that fence of crossed candies, Mr Chocs have a way out. They will gobble up my candies in their territory one by one.
The only way to stop Mr Chocs is to crack them by crushing 3 or more like candies next to them. Pesky Mr Chocs have no chance at all when that happens.
The trick to getting rid of them first before they get the chance to invade is to strike them without breaking the “fence.”
And I can only do that when I get a horizontally striped candy on the other side.
Those lethal stripes will blow those irritating Chocs to kingdom come even before they knew what hit them. Candy Crushers will know what I’m talking about.
The thing is—it is not easy to get those striped candies.
I notice that my chances of getting them is next to NIL when I haphazardly crush candies, hoping and waiting one will emerge with the random swiping of my finger.
It’s better if I take the initiative to think out the placement of each candy and strategize, thereby guaranteeing my chances in getting a striped candy to strike at Mr Chocs. Which I might add is not an easy task. A lot of patience is needed. (No wonder I’m still stuck.)
Why am I telling you this?
Actually, I had no idea until I reached this part. (That is what I call NO EXPECTATIONS.)
Mr Chocs: Useless stuff in your life.
Crossed Candies: You will end up broken if your Soul’s desires are ignored all the time.
Striped Candies: The Truth—I don’t really need to explain this now, do I?
Random Swiping: Unconscious living or being unaware. Aka WAITING FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN.
Strategizing Your Swipes: Conscious living or being aware. Aka CREATING YOUR REALITY
