Megan Young’s win was sort of anti-climactic since the media has been raving on and on, even before the finale, that she’s already got the crown in the bag. (Talk about collective consciousness).
Anyway. Congratulations, Megan Young!
Love your answer during the Q & A–“If I become Miss World Philippines, I would pour my heart and soul into helping others, which is what Miss World is (all about): beauty and giving.”
I can totally relate with the “giving” part.
(Oops, my bad (again)…this was her answer last August in Manila’s Miss World Philippines…whatever–everything has a purpose.)
And what a coincidence. We have the same birthday…
Just got this off my FB Newsfeed. Hopefully it’s accurate:
Her final question: Why should you be Miss World?
Megan’s answer: “I treasure a core value of humanity that guides people why they act the way they do. I will use this to show other people how they can understand each other. As one, we can help society.”
My sentiments exactly…
